Hi guyz, I m sure many of u mite have noticed dis changes in the posts and the profile options.(incase u dont know abt dis,plz read) So these features added are:- 1) Points system 2) Reputation 3) Visitors message in profile 4) Thanks button 5)Friends and Foes Let me give u a bit of details about the working of each. 1) The points system. U mite have noticed this in your posts statictics i.e just below ur username. A member will now gain +1 point on posting every new subject/topic on the forum. This will also be shown in members profile. 2) Reputation system. This one's an interesting one. Members can now vote for posts they like hence increasing the reputation of the member. If at all any members likes any post, posted by a member he/she can vote for the post by cliking on to either '+' or '-' symbols that are placed on the right handside on each posts. (just below the quote button). If a member likes the post he/she can vote for the post by cliking '+' symbol and the member who posted the particluar topic gets a positive point. Similarly if a member votes in '-' so the member gets a negative point thus decrasing in the reputation. Cliking on the + shows a green bar while cliking on the - shows a red bar. 3) Visitors message is just like the scraps. This can be seen in the profile section. So now members can just leave a msg to their frnds on their profile. 4) Thanks button is also added. Pls use the thanks button instead of just posting thanks.plz note u can use thanx button in ur topic only.If u give thanx to anyone that person will get 3 points. 5)You can add frnds n foes n this will also be shown in members profile. feel free to post ur views.
